Hey i am having some trouble with my b4.. Today after over taking a truck on the highway, I have been having some weird turbo issues. When the first turbo boosts at around 4k the car starts jerking a bit back and forth as if loosing and gaining boost the boost gauge needle jumps between 11 and 15 psi. if i floor it the second turbo is boosting 15 psi! im sure it shouldnt be that high. has anyone had such issues, anyone know what might be going on. also have noticed when driving and i take my foot off acelerator and cruise along im getting a knocking sound and i can feel it in the footwell. i have had a look under the car and the boot coming from the gearbox on the left is torn could this have cracked possibly?

from reading other threads im thinking 15 psi is normal.. i dont ofter look at gauge when going that fast.. (its where the ashtray is).... anyway mabey the problem is something to do with the knocking coming from the c.v area..?

15psi sounds about right?

check in your engine bay for any vacume hoses that may have come off or a split.also check your airflow meter is leaking any were.

if you look at the left rear of your engine bay youl find you turbo.hava good look around at all hoses and check for leaks splits ect.this may be the 'jerking'

ok ive been for a another drive this jerking is only happening in 4th and 5th gear.. would that mean its not a turbo issue..? mabey something in the drivetrain slipping? mabey something to do with the knocking i have been hearing.

A quick check of the ECV duty solenoid. This would be active as you descibed

"second turbo begins to come in.. but only in 4th and 5th and once so far in 3rd"

This solenoid can be isolated for a check. Disconnect the positive pressure line No: 5 from the top port of the very large ECV actuator on the drivers side engine bay.There will be a short step up hose.Plug the hose only.Test drive the car

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
