Need some rust repairs done on the cheap

So it seems that I have acquired myself a daily / s***ter but for it to get a WOF it needs some rust repairs in the boot. Does anyone know of anyone who would be keen on a cashie after hours to sort me out some rust repair? Some is surface rust around the rear winscreen, but the major stuff is around the boot hinges and will need a new section of plate welded in.

I can pay in cash, or in beer haha. No sexual favours!

get hold of one of the tutors in the panel shop at welltec, you'll end up with apprentices fixing it, but its usally cheaper than a panel shop.

I'm assuming they still do this, they used to when I was a panel beater

Yeah they quoted me when I had the WOF done last night... looking for a cheap fix as the car ain't worth that much itself!

Just ring weltec and ask, but if its around hinges it probably wont be that cheap

post up a pic of where you need it patched, I may come out of panel beating retirement.

Jack Daniels in porirua is all good if your looking for cheap the guy owns it free hold so quotes on the spot. Was half the price from my other quotes. Had to make him redo some but he did it at no extra cost and didnt complain (that I know off anyways)
