Just got an inquiry regarding my car im selling on trademe.

He is a new member and has no feedback and from Australia

Here's what he said to me:

Are you sure he doesnt just mean the AA mobile inspection they do? Just tell him your happy to take the car to AA centre... Will even save him money

AA check costs the same for mobile or in store afaik

Not when i had it done a few years back $120 normal or $140 mobile inspection may have changed since then

i sold a guy my ecu on trade me who had no feedback and was in aus. it turned into a bloody nightmare to be honest took 2 months to complete the sale and now I would definitley never sell to anyone in aus again.

If he wants to ship it thats his problem. He said cash on pick up so im guessing he has someone here to collect the car.. or maybe he is moving here? Proceed with a bit of caution but from whats been said so far nothing seems overly strange

And yeah direct selling to oz is a pain. Ive sold a STi brace to an aussie, ended up losing $20 on bank fees
