Hi there. I have a BH 250t auto. Its pretty thirsty when it comes to driving in town. Hoping someone can explain the A/T Power Hold button beside the gear shifter for me. I get that power holds the changes longer. And Ive heard that if driving 80kms or slower to use Hold or 3rd gear.can anyone explain to me the best situations to use them.cheers

Power- changes the Change points in the auto

Hold -this can be difficult, to under stand, some say it used for Icy conditions and it starts in a higher gear, the other option is as u suggested that it will hold it in selected gear.

Neither of which I think will help with your fuel usage, best bet is a full service, including fuel filter, spark plugs and air filter.

Also drive with only partial throttle, make sure your tires are at the correct pressure :)

Fuel eating subaru??

For the last 200 thou Km my work wagon( GT auto 91) has returned 400 to 440 km per tank full.( reasonable)

2 weeks ago the fuel pump packed up..Slowly at first then eventually would not run the engine over 2k until I clamped off the return line to the tank so i could get home.

Here's the kicker...When i did my usual km check on the tank full with the new fuel pump i got 480 km easy as!

Not an easy thing to check this fuel pump but in today's fuel cost crisis it would almost make sense to up grade your pump so that best injection / atomisation is achieved at all times.

At least get/have the pressure checked under load periodically.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
