Idle Control - link control?

Yea i got a link plus (g1)

my car idles all over the show mostly once its hot it revs up to about 2 then settles etc etc

What is control this idle? link or standard sensor?

As far as I know the early Links didnt need the factory idle control, while tuning you basically had to set a minimum rev limit (usually like 1000rpm). I idles at that whether the car is hot or cold, my microtech works like that too.

when my car is cold it under revs and cuts out sometimes

but when it under revs it reacts to that and revs up?

if its jsut sittings there idling once its hot it just randomly revs up then backs off abit then right down?

It may not be set correctly when tuned then, I know when I did my flipped manifold the idle went bottom up just like yours so we just adjusted the idle screw till it was fine again.

Unfortunately that wasnt all the flipped manifold did....looks like it ruined the whole tune so Im finishing some other stuff and then getting it retuned.

sounds a bit odd. My linkplus (i assume is G1, not sure how to tell) has a base RPM limit, which is adjustable, and apparently it has a cold idle option which is done in what i think was a percentage. Mine is running 850rpm base, and 60 (%?) cold.

Mine hasnt been tuned correctly just yet (hasnt been on a dyno), but everything has been set up correctly. i have stock IACV, and when cold it now idles at 1300rpm, solid as a rock.

Ohk but do know what sensors when its cold etc it could b that stuffing up and making it idle weird?

i should take it in to pf auto and get it looked at.

your idles messed up hard man haha when i drove it the other day it like stalls out heapz when you first start it if you dont give it a bita revs.

And when your sitting there the car jsut revs all over the show randomly lol....

i know that possumlink dont need the ivc.

i think jamie had this problem with his linkplus? and had to still use the IVC

Yea i know there use to be, someone mite have to write one etc
