Replacing Wheel Bearings - Place and Approx Cost

Would like to know if anyone has someone they would recommend for getting some wheel bearings replaced? and also the approximate cost for this procedure ( i remember someone has had one done recently )

I've got both hubs off the car and have 2 brand new bearings to go with it, and looking to get it down in a couple of weeks or so.

hi well wouldnt it save u money if u did them they arent hard to do ;D

Never done one before and don't have any experience either, is tempting as i am a hand on person but somethings are best left to the people with the right tools

They are easy to screw up if you press them together wrong

I can do for you if ya want, just drop me off he hubs

take just over an hour to do both at the workshop

Just take your time and have a big hammer on hand.

press is best way, you can feel the preload by turning the hub as you press the drive flange thru the bearing

Give to Ichi if you can, he did mine for me. Can't remember the price but was about 2 hours I think, but would be easier if you can just give him the hubs, he had to take mine off himself so took longer.

Get ichiban to do them. He did mine also, thoroughly recommend him
