Boost Issues

Hi there,

Me and my old man just finished putting the engine back in my 94 BD5 rs sedan and although it started first time it's having boost issues. It drives fine but seems to stay in vacum and never come on to boost. Everything seems to be hooked up properly only thing we couldnt work out is The black canister on the drivers side at the front of the engine bay, from what i can figure it's the evap canister, theres 2 hoses going into the top and what looks like a hose connection on the bottom but no hose left that will fit it. There is one hose remaining which comes out in the right place but won't fit. It's a little 4mm vacumn hose joined to what looks like garden hose which runs along the front bottom of the radiator and comes into a black metal tank on the passenger side in front of the wheel arch. Don't know whether this could have anything to do with it but it's the only thing I could find wrong. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Adding to that, I seem to have found where that hose connects, in the black box with all the vacum hoses on the drivers side is a t junction that has nothing connected which was sucking in air it reaches and fits on there so that seems to be it? It's still not boosting though. Also on a test drive to see if that fixed it the abs and steering light would come on and the doors lock shut. I suspect this isn't related though, the alarm isn't going off on door opens so I think the alarm and immobiliser are playing up as the car occasionally shuts off completly as well.

Tried checking fault codes but after following the instructions on here, I got to 100 flashes of the CEL and it was still going. I'm not actually 100% sure if there was as an actual boost issue as it was hard to check due to the other issue I'm having. All the hoses in the black box and intercooler seem right. Biggest issue I'm having at the moment (and it's booked into an auto electrician tomorrow unless anyone can suggest anything ) is electrical. While running and sitting still it's fine but when you start moving the Alarm, Power Steering, ABS all go haywire and then the engine shuts off. Feel free to move this thread to electrical. Thought it was just the alarm but I seem to have fixed that and the problem persists. Any ideas?

it cycles through the fault codes, you should be able to tell by the delay in flash when it is switching between codes (if it is throwing multiple codes that is)

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
