Have a 95 RS legacy with this connection

Is this and ODBI 1 or 2?

reason im asking is my mate was showing me a blue tooth device he connects to it and gets all the read outs on his phone. This would come in handy but tried to connect to mine and didnt look like the connection was there.

I have searched web and there are some odbi 1 to 2 converters so I'm wondering if anyone has tried using this and the ODBI 2 connectors together with success?

completely different communication protocols - so I'd say no

never heard of OBD1 -OBD 2 convertor , and info ??

can get one here but trying to see if its worth buying before sinking money. Although for the price it is I could just buy and try and if it doesnt work just sell on trademe.

i came across the same thing on ebay a couple of weeks back but didnt really pay any attention to it, if someone ends up trying it out, let me know how you get on, be keen if it works. otherwise i wont bother with it

Old post I know, but I thought this might be of interest to anyone who owns any make Subaru from 99 - 09. I recently purchased this to use on my B4 Legacy, and its an awesome piece of equipment to have. It just plugs installs and plugs into any windows based computers

Evo Scan have an android app (can't find the .APK anywhere though) connect via bluetooth(to OBDII), or USB(to OBDII)
