This Is my turbo

Hi there everybody.

I'm trying to learn more about my car, today I took out 2 unused old alarm looms, and tried to diagnose/inspect my turbo.

It has no shaft play at all, but my question is, what is the turbo?

Has F1221 and A/R50 on it and 671381 all on housing

It has A/R50 on it and some other numbers I will put up (posting thread from phone)

yep agree picture that works time lol, Nothin subaru has AR's on the comp housing that I know of so must be aftermarket whatever it is..

Yeah it's about 60% larger than your standard vf

That's the one, it only spins, doesn't move at all

looks like a older Precision turbo to me.. (from the one photo anyways lol)

try a t04e or to4b with a 46trim comp wheel

I think it's a "cheap Chinese" one but I'm just trying to identify it.

right.....the comp nut is a 3/8 left hand thread and garrett the comp wheel also has garrett stamp and markings but google away

Ah I didn't Know they were Garrett markings as Garrett isn't written on it anywhere thank you

pretty much every turbo on the market is a hybrid unless its oem fitted

I see, after looking round on google most of them have Garrett on the housing but then again I'm learning, have to start somewhere I suppose

I think he means that only the compressor wheel is a garret one. Not the housings. Well not the front anyway.
