you dont need to run water and the return is the same a td05 feed bolt will be either a 12x1.25 or 10x1.5 and drill the banjo off the head to 2.5mm, you can also use the vf return pipe if you slot the holes

Needs to run water aparently it's a must on this turbo. I'm trying to sorce some from Driven at the moment, gotta have them by the weekend

Not Steve from te rapa lol Steve as in steve murch Steve

My under standing of the water cooling is so the core cools down slower once the vehicle is turned off and cooling down

Without it ensure the oil temp isn't higher than normal when u turn it off - correct me if I'm wrong however

Drill out the stock line connector Nd it will work sweet

water helps to prevent coking of the bearings over a long duration and a must if running a gt garrett turbo or stock vf bb turbo, i do however recommend running a good oil cooler and change oil every 3-4k and synthetic oil isn't a reason to run longer unless you have no respect for pride and joy, oil feed must be made from steel or braid no rubber.

TD series need to run a -3an hose with a 2.5mm feed hole in the fittings

Will this work or do you suggest keeping to -3AN?

Its a v7 engine and theres a banjo that goes from the front of the engine round to the back to another banjo then up to the turbo theres a scrrew peice. Where do the afftermarket oil lines come from? The up peice or one of the banjos? As if i block one banjo off will that be bad?

if you have oil feed for cam timing i would highly suggest you use a sandwich plate between the oil filter and block and run the oil feed from there

isn't that where the factory set up is plumbed from? the AVCS oil line? does it make a differnce to the cam timing or more of a "it would be BETTER fed from somewhere else" thing?

the pipe is a major to take off to start with and isn't that big inside and sharing flow with the stock is so so but as demand goes up for power and larger turbo is fitted its not that great, even mitsi have issue where they come off the end of the head and should us a sandwich block if making over 100hp per piston.

Ive never worried about the effect on cam timing cause if that's not 100% there's no ill effect but the turbo is another issue when it goes wrong.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
