Trying to install my amps in this, my toyota was a peice of piss, however on this theres a ton more wires/lines etc that im not sure exactly where the best place to try get a run of gauge and a run of 8gauge power wire through from the engine bay into the cabin. Car is a 2000 wrx sti, has anyone got a photo they can show me of where they ran the cable? I can see one or two places i might be able to do it, but with a quick push the cable didnt seem to go far, so if someone can help and save me spending hours looking it would be appreciated.

thanks.

Oh course, yeah use that one, that's what I'm using in mine. Duh. I think the air-con pipe route is only easily accessible in Legacies, not Impreza's so much.

It's the main loom hole, you'll see it easy enough, and it's easy to reach up behind the glovebox to access on the other side as well.

Cool thanks, will give it a go tomorrow.

If you have an extra pair of hands, it will make it a lot easier! One to thread the cable through, another to look under the glove box for the wee ray of light that will appear through

Had a bit of a fail first attempt at installing, these type X spacers are way too big for the doors, they look like they will need an 18mm spacer to fit which means they wont fit behind the door card I dont think. Looks like ill need to make some spacers to put them on the rear parcel tray as midbass only speakers, and leave the current slim components in the front. Not ideal but will get me going in the meantime till i sort something out I guess. Might need a non stock exhaust and some induction noise to make up for lack of stereo.

Also had to make a wooden base to screw to the back of the rear 'seats' for my amps since when i took them out all that was there was a metal bar and some plastic, not like the fold down seats on my toyota.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
