will a wrx exhaust system direct bolt up to a bf5 single turbo legacy?

mates legacy is way to loud and trying to get it legal for its next wof

The tip will be retracted under the bumper, they really need to be extended about 5" to reach properly

I've got a full 2.5" exhaust system off my bc5 that would probably fit quite nicely. Decent rumble too trust exhaust btw

As per the GC8 system it will be too short at the tip end. BF5 Wagons have deeper bumpers.

Yeah, you'll need a wagon (anything) tip, and will likely have to extend the WRX mid pipe a tad. I fitted a WRX down and mid pipe to my BG, had to extend the mid pipe 10cm to meed up with my BG tail pipe.

Not needed to extend on a BC/BF as they're not stretched relative to the Impreza. Your BG has the 10cm body spacer remember.
