STi Handbrake Leather

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the leather from the handbrake handle on the WRX STi 1999, GC8 shape?

If so how!

Hey

Think I may have an issue with the brakes, when I'm driving down the motor way everything is fine slowing down for a set of lights or something I've noticed that under braking there seems to be a bit of a shudder in the steering, steering wheel shakes a bit and coming to a stop can feel like it's jerking. Every now and again when I put my foot on the brakes it feels normal but sometimes it just sinks down a bit and goes real soft then back to normal. I've started to double brake now and it doesn't do it then, I've done some emergency braking recently so that even though it goes soft I know it's going to stop me.

Just changed the brake pads to so maybe there's a bit of air in the line, possibly a brake flush is in order.

Any Ideas

Bleed your brakes - did you release bleed nipples when you pulled old pads out? Read this thread for \'how to bleed\'
