think my turbo is on the way out

hey guys toke the intake off my wagen other day and redid the fuel lines

\'and have noticed there was a little bit of oil in the turbo inatke so im gessing the seals are on the way out whose the best person to redo them im running a vf30 turbo??

Your turbos probably fine.

Research a subaru PCV setup.

oil vapor from the crank case gets sucked into the turbo inlet and the intake manifold

have a catch can set up

But has the inlet been off before it was installed? Is it possible its in there from before the catch can was installed

Was the oil in the inlet manifold or the intake pipe pre-turbo?

Are you still running a PCV Valve?

I guess you mean the intake manifold as oil cant flow upstream of the turbo.

If your still running a PCV the oil vapor gets sucked into the inlet manifold under vacuum

Either way VF\'s dont usually end up leaking unless they dont have a restrictor on the oil feed and even then they tend to leak past the seals into the exhaust housing not to the compressor side.

I would just put a can of upper cylinder cleaning foam through it and check it again in a few months. unless you turbo performance is reduced of course.

Standard breather system allows fumes to enter PRE turbo when intake is under boost pressures.the resulting "fumes" condensate in the pipework.

Would say in this case turbo is ok.

Standard breather/intake systems are always oily on their internals...
