BH5 airbag light on.

Recommended Posts

Okay, so the other day dad moved the car, and then all of a sudden airbag light came on, hasn\'t gone off since(except when no power to ignition obviously) it\'s not the clock spring as the horn still works. The airbag light never came on before like that. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Or any way I could self check to see what \'codes\' it spits out? Does the OBDII stuff have access to read airbag stuff?

Yeah; disconnected it last night; still on today. Man you just had to make me sad with the \'it could still be the clock spring\' :( I checked the wires under seats; they\'re fine, still connected. The cars only done 167 thousand km\'s, is that a stage where the electrics start breaking too? Lol :(

Haha, I would love a leone, much less to go wrong! Yeah; I found a video that said to check airbag/abs faults join pins 4 and 9 on the obdII connector(with a nappy pin or something). But then I have to find out what those codes mean T.T also, I don\'t want to do that as the vid was for a honda accord, and I\'m not sure how universal things are.

Need a few things for a wof that I\'ll probably need to get done at a garage(for lack of proper tools I.e. pressed suspension bush, and wheel alignment after tie rod end swapped) so I\'d get the garage to check codes on the airbags while they\'re at it.

Okay, so I pulled the dash apart today, and the drivers airbag off(dw, battery was disconnected) wires to clock spring were still fine, and as the horn works I\'ve ruled that out. Tried dosconnecting abc(airbag control) unit for a bit to see if it\'d lose power, no. So I\'m now at the safe assumption one of the collision sensors have shat themselves. As all the wiring is still in tact. Though it may be a seat sensor; however I\'m not sure I\'ll probably have to take it into a subaru dealer but I\'m not sure how useful the nelson subaru dealership is. As I know they don\'t sell parts, so whether they have tools to check or not. :/

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
