CEL code 45 + other issues >.<

Paradox

Hey sub lovers, got a problem....

Car was running mint, boosting 10-12psi primary, 15-16 secondary. Re-installed boost gauge (had to remove it when doing manual conversion, as was running through the clutch mount on the fire-wall) and since then the car (95 bg5a gt wagon) hasn\'t been idling right. Unhooked gauge, still done it, re-fitted the gauge with new line and tee, and problem still there (tee\'d into line 11) Sometimes it\'s good, sometimes it dies, or goes to die, when clutching it, or slowing down to a stop. Thought it was AFM, so switched it, and the problem persists + starting boosting at 7psi primary and secondary. Switched AFM back, and both problems still there!! Occasionally it will boost normal, but more often only running the 7psi. Checked CEL and came up with 45, I cleared the ecu and the code has gone, but still a problem (need to take for proper run again admittedly) Any ideas???

Also, where is the pressure exchange solenoid, and the pressure sensor?

Pressure sensor thingy is on the firewall (I think its on drivers side on BG) - has hoses 22 and 23 (??) on either side of it

Exchange solenoid I imagine is something relating to BBoD (black box of dooooooom) where all the trickery is on drivers strut tower.

That sucker on your firewall is the differential pressure sensor - it basically helps equalise pressures from both turbos before it allows them to combine. That sounds fine to me, but as marky says its your pressure sensor that lives in the bbod (I forget which line it goes to). 7psi sounds like wastegate pressure so either your restrictor pill has gone or something is going in to failsafe mode. Given that you were tinkering with vac lines and not the sensor I\'m inclined to say go make sure they\'re all ok

Cheers for the reply :) Just ran some upper engine cleaner through. First test drive showed proper boost. Will take for proper drive tonight and report back. Only vacuum line i\'ve touched has been line 11 for the boost gauge. Wiped the cel code, hasn\'t come back since.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
