Strut top bearings

Hi people,

Pulled another strut out of the wagon today to send away to get looked at and I notice my top hat bearings in the front are getting very notchy, like they\'re grabbing which can\'t be good.

I\'ve put grease in them - no change, does anyone know if you can have new bearings fitted or what\'s the go? They look rather sealed......

its just a sealed cartridge bearing . assume you can smack it out and get another one for like $8 . they will always feel notchy as they spend a long time getting vibrated over a very small range of movement

if you can still spin it by hand id put it back in . it will have loose and tight spots as part of normal use .

if its rusty and has play then replace it

the ones i took out of my gc8 have 6302 rs on tthem and are koyo japan . so should be easy as to find

6302 bearings are as common as muck any engineering place will have them as par for the course
