Possum Link Ecu with an Apexi AVC-R for boost control?

Hey guys, I know some of you know heaps about these ecu\'s etc & I know its a bit of a silly question but I have had a complete Apexi AVC-R set up ready to go in my WRX for a while now but have recently just purchased a Possumlink off Slydog on here. I decided to go for a possum link as alot of people have recommended it as a good value for money ECU for my Era of car being the older Version 2 RA.

What I want to know is am I able to run the possum link with the Apexi aswell or is that pretty much pointless?

but i ran a apexi power fc with a HKS evc.

Just run the boost control through the possum link?

Shouldn\'t be a problem, I don\'t know if the Possumlink even did boost control or if it was very good if it did.

If I were you, with a badass build like yours, I\'d seriously consider selling both and putting the money towards a Link G4. Closed loop boost control is the goods.

Yeah I was going to go for a G4 but we are having a baby in a few weeks & I really just want to get it running now im not sure how much further I will go with the car for a little while as other things are obviously going to take priority. So if I can get it running & driveable on the Possum that will keep me happy for now & maybe a bit later on spend the money & get the G4.

The thing there is you\'re going to have to get a tune regardless of which ECU you go with which is going to be a good $500-1000, depending where you go, which is money down the drain if you\'re going to get a G4 in the future. \'tis a tricky one.

Yeah I see where your coming from but either way man, Ive had the car off the road for over 2 years & im actually starting to get a bit over it now bigger & better things to move on with now so once its running & driving im happy

since u already have the bits, just get the avcr installed and tune the possumlink for fuel/timing and avcr for boost

that way u will have it running asap i suppose

possumlink dohave a limitation on how big injectors it will drive nicely..i think up to 650 maybe fine (if i remember correctly)...

I have got Sti pink top feeds which are 565cc I think? Not after big power with it yet as I still have the stock RA engine in there at the moment so once I build a forged engine for it then we can worry about more boost etc

Possum Links have crap boost control so definatly go with the AVCR....

p.s sorry been flat out with work so haven\'t sent those plugs yet
