Another day... another possible problem

it probably does it at high speed however I can not hear it but... when i reverse and turn the wheel, the rear back wheel feels like its popping. Almost as if one of the wheels in the back grips for a moment and then releases that is what it feels like. I could be mistaking this for a clicking sound ie CV. Cant hear any bearing noise

Any thoughts?

Is it an RA?

I\'m guessing tight rear diff and maybe dccd locked up.

If the dccd is locked up or a bit tight whats the outcome of this? And a solution... Yes its an ra

if it\'s the DCCD then unlock it... if it\'s the rear diff, either ignore it or put some slipperier oil in it... or try and put some friction modifier in.

Solution if DCCD is locked is to wind it back so that its open.

Rear diff is something you\'ll have to live with for choosing an RA over a 1.6L cs

Have seen people remove perfectly good plate LSD\'s in the past to replace with a run of the mill viscous unit just because they thought there was a problem with it. But in reality, they had a car with a nice tight diff.

Someone else may have something completely opposite to add to this though? I wouldn\'t take my word as 100% as this is the internet.
