Which ECU do I want? B4 ST swap

So looking to finally do the single turbo thing to the wagon - will just do it slow time for now and convert the ECU side first and do the mechanical later - just running parallel VF27s for the meantime.

The guide gazzy wrote up is dead handy - I just need to know which ECU do I want to find? It\'s a rev A manual - I don\'t know the comp ratio - am I better off finding a v5 or 6 ECU, and is there any benefit between using an STi / RA / Whatever unit?

Talk to reckliz or 4foot on here they got 200kwish+ out of non sti ecu. Stock GT or GTB longblock I think. A7 or A8 is the one I think. Sti can give issues being lower comp ratio. Gazzy had big knock issues one one of his from running an sti ecu.

Non sti limited to about a bar cuts at 15psi iirc.

Yes. A7 or A8 are the ones to go for.

I run an A7, 15PSi.

Only difference between A7 and A8, A8 is from the auto.

Mine cut at 15psi so had to wind it back ever so slightly. If the chink guage is accurate that is.

I have a Rev A manual and pretty sure the compression is 8.5:1 on Rev A & B, Rev C & D are 9:1

only one i\'m not 100% on is the Rev C
