Was watching the drive rush chaps on Sunday morn and was thinking is it possible to put for example a clutch switch on a hand brake so when you ripped the handbrake it cut the engine same as flatshift to save you clutching? Purely out of curiosity on this one not something I have intentions of doing.

Other thing can you set up the clutch switch for flatshift so it turns on flatshift function as soon as you start to depress the clutch rather than setting it up when it hits the floor does it work or need a delay or something or is that just real dumb. Looks easier to set up the first way is all.

Surely you\'re engaging the clutch when pulling on the handbrake to prevent the engine from coming to an instant 0rpm situation to match the rear wheels which you have just locked up by pulling on the handbrake? (if you didn\'t puch down on the clutch at the same time)

If you have a bracket in the correct place, you just position a momentary switch so that it is held closed by the clutch pedal and it works as soon as the pedal moves downwards. Rather than the pedal having to go through its whole travel to reach the switch.

Yea I think Im over thinking it way too much.

Yep thats what I was thinking Ive got a NO/NC switch to mount somehow. Might have to cut it down to get it to fit. Meh not a priority.

Copy the one thats on the brake switch.

My memory says theres one there. Reality may say otherwise. Haven\'t stuck my head down there for a while. Was thinking about hooking one up in my RS but its been about a year since I ran the wire and didn\'t finish the job :)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
