Mate of mine pulled an 11.9 last night in a v7, gives me hope for low 11s, mines noticably quicker off the mark... will have to get down for a run next week if poss.

Mate ran his blue v4 sti wagon. Factory apart from my old apexi turbo and exhaust and did a 12.8 best with .5xx reaction times which could of been better!

Run was done during practice, started off with a 11.2 in the first run followed by a 11 flat then i turned boost down and hit a 10.9 lol ;D

ninja 8, rection times have nothing to do with the overall time. E.g you could sit at the line for 10sec .the timer wont start until you start moving.. Reaction times are only good for races when its first car over finish line.

Bro when i get back from the states im guna take it down again but wil tune an take new plugs down. Pretty confident should crack a low 11 with right tyre pressure.

Explains everything I have done on the car which is change basically everything. Your basically getting in the Evo what I want is your Evo stripped or just big turbo built engine?

Its not stripped at all and runs full street tyres (no semi slicks real full street tyres) i drive it from work to the strip and race it ;D it has a 2.3 with gt35r

Well I won\'t match your hp but my car will be a hell of a lot lighter, not enough to get into the 10s though without e85 and huge boost. I run semi slicks which will help buts it\'s just a 2.0l gtx30r turbo. Plus other mods which will help spool etc but not really top end power.

Did you change the Evo 4 engine for newer model that don\'t suffer from crank walk?

Yup changed btw they dont crank walk had a few evo 4s and non of them ever crank walked....i had a different block when i bought this car

I\'ve read a few times that evo 4 is terrible for it and the others not so much. Just going on what I read though never owned one so no personal experience. I guess it all boils down to how you look after it like any car.

Yea thats true just like evo 4 drive line is ment to be s*** but im running 412wkw through it with more torque then a dodge viper and its held up to 50 launches so far ;D

Reading into the evos overseas its 450nm around 4k that blows drivelines apart. Keep torque later and everything stays intact.

As for 10\'s on a GT/X 3071 its commonplace on EJ20 overseas.

Cool but probably 2.5 l block on them. After conversation with tez n u and forgeting that i had scat rods rated higher than 600 hp i have decided to reinstate my flexi fuel idea so I can go e85 and push the upper limits of 500 hp hopefully.

Nope EJ20 in V7/8 chassis leap on youtube dude but various blocks also. Buy an early evo 300wkw will give you a 10. Thought track/race was more your goal tho. 500whp or 500fwhp?
