Clutch help needed

Hey guys only new to the site, my car is in with my mechanic at the minute getting a new clutch kit but also new flywheel needed. Im wondering does anyone know if the JDM BL5 legacy clutch the same the the Australian liberty clutch, none whats so ever available in Europe so car is off road till i source this kit! Only a handful here in Ireland so most mechanics are at a loss when trying to find parts! May have sourced a kit of Exedy NZ but i need to be 100% certain it will fit as shipping it back will cost me a fortune.

err - why do you need a new flywheel? generally they just surface them.

I would say to email the guys at wingers r.e fitment ([email protected]) or try pming ichiban or hopai.

Exact car spec would help as the turbo and non turbo clutches are different

The flywheel is a dual mass, like a diesel. Very difficult to have them machined.

Subaru won't have gone to the trouble of having different clutch kits for non JDM.

As far as I'm aware there's two variations, Dual mass flywheel kit and non.

You could put any type of clutch in there; they are interchangeable throughout model history.
