tow bar electrical set up job

Hey guys, my toyota corona has a decent tow bar on it and my dad is thinking about keeping it as a tow car when I leave christchurch. The only issue is the car does not have the electrical connection to hook up to the trailor.

Does anyone have any idea how much it might cost to set up the wires and plugs for connecting the brake lights etc etc to the car.

Anyone who is living in christchurch and is able to do the job we would be happy to pay cash but it must be done legally and properly

its really a piece of piss

there isnt a legal or illegal way to do it .

like its comparable to a head unit . although with less wires and under the car where you cant see it . if you could wire a head unit you could do it

a plug is like $7 a metre of wire is like $5 . and sparky rates are what like 60 an hour ?

or mates rates are a box of piss ??

is it a wagon or a sedan ?

you just parallel them all off one side then run a single wire to the other side for the indicator ( so ID some wires by looking at the back of the lights . and join them with connectors /tape / soldier /chocolate block / what ever floats your boat )

I am sure it is easy but still keen to have someone do it who knows their way around electronics
