R180 hubs

So, I\'m looking at getting some R180 hubs for my 03 legacy gt (bl) does anyone know if these will fit without modification? Cheers.

That\'s the one! I\'m aware they don\'t bolt up to the stock hubs for the rear so was thinking if the axles fit the R180 hubs I could just change them over...

nope, you have 2 options, either fit backing plates for 2 pots or adaptors to fit currant hub set up

What exactly do you mean by fitting backing plates? Not really keen to make any adaptors or anything because I\'m not keen on a cert.

you can get the backing plates for the bh legacy sti to bolt right on. they are expensive though, but a factory bolt on setup

And they bolt up the Version 7 WRX brembo\'s fine? And idea where to get them from?

yes. you will very much struggle to find second hand ones. genuine is an option?

gotasubys on the money, I did brembos on mine but used adaptors was a lot easier

I assume genuine will cost an arm and a leg... But I suppose I\'ll try subie for a price.

I would use adaptors, but I\'m not really happy with having to get a cert, not because you think I may be cheap... But because I think it\'s stupid having to get a re-cert for changing something as silly as wheel\'s to a different width etc

So, I\'ve just been through and had a read of the VIRM and it doesn\'t actually say anywhere in there that they need a cert for adaptors. So, how\'d you go about doing your adaptors DacerX? Are there some you can buy off the shelf or did you fabricate some up yourself?

Do you have the brake kit you want? As I have adaptors to sell with brake kit. I have dacer adapters atm and I got them made but you can buy off the shelf

Not right now, they\'re on trademe all I have to do is hit buy now though. Do they come with modified drums to accomodate the larger rotors aswell? And how much?

The kit i have is got everything you need to bolt on to a legacy comes with small rear drum rogers which are expensive and rare and ds2000 pads and also comes with adaptors. After 1500 Ono. Which is cheap considering rotors are usually 350,pads 500 and adaptors 300. Plus brembos

Mind posting up some pics? Does your kit actually include the rotors?

Yup everything. It\'s still on vehicle atm. I can take photo of vehicle?

Comes with callipers as well

This is the most complete bolt on brembo kit you could get for a legacy. You won\'t need to buy anything else and will replace all your factory brakes. Front and rear. The only thing you may have to be careful of is will your wheels fit brembos

I\'ve got new wheels that should be here in a few weeks that\'ll fit brembo\'s, considering you have them on your car, did you need a cerrt for them?
