Short shift.

Looking for a short shifter kit that will fit a version 2 wrx. Theres a few on trademe but the sellers either don\'t know if they will fit or they tell upfront they wont fit. I did find one kit that said it fits my94 my 96 my 98 but have no idea what my stood for which brings me to the other point, of this gfb kit: http://www.pro-wholesale.co.nz/short-shifter-kits-wrx-sti/ this kit cost a bit but it comes with more than just a shaft. any recommendations? or anyone got one up for sale that would suit ma car

The shifter in the link says it reduces throw by %40 which is pretty sweet. its expensive and looks more complicated than the standard short shifters which are just 1 piece. Ill buy it as last resort.

Just move the pivot point down the stick. 10min job at your local engineering shop.

The pivot point is the connection point between the gear stick and that shaft that disappears into the gear box?
