Few set up questions

So, I\'m currently running the standard TT set up for my BE Rev-D. The top mount in my engine bay, is getting a bit old, and hasn\'t been replaced at all. What I was wanting to know is, what advantages would I get from running a FMIC set up? I\'ve come across this here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=702499868 Total price for the FMIC is $550. What kind of price would I be looking at for installation?

The other thing I was looking at was strut braces for the car. How big of a difference does it make having them? I\'ve found Rear Tower and Lower body braces.

Lower: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=702236756

Rear: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=702236757

I see the rear shock is pretty self-explanatory, as for the Lower body brace - is there anything else needed for the install/ is there a guide for where it is bolted in to?

Thanks, still trying to find my way around my Suby, and doing some DIY on it.

Swaybars will give you a noticable decrease in body roll, and strut braces help prevent the body from twisting. Your car being a rev-d means you should have a reflashable ecu, big gains to be had there. Guy on the forums by the name of marky has done some research on fmic\'ing a twin turbo, aparently it helps a huge amount with reducing the VOD between the two turbo switchover point

Do Front and Rear Strut Braces, then Sway Bar Bushes/Sway Bar Links. Made \'one hell\' of a difference to my BH5 handling, all reasonably cheap and easy.

Then if it\'s still not stiff enough (body roll), go bigger Sway Bars and K Brace etc.

To fit a FMIC you\'ll need to loose your Lower Spots/Fog Lights, Radiator Over Flow Bottle, OEM Air Box and do a bit of bumper chopping as said.

I pretty much eliminated my Heat Soak by fitting Phenolic Spacers:

You can also \'carefully\' straighten the fins on your TMIC so it\'s efficient again. If your after power gains, as said you have a "Rev D" Tuneable ECU, so just a Tune will make a big difference for minor $$$.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
