What Transmission will fit in my car?

Hey, im new to forums so sorry if im not doing this right,

but i have a 1991 Subaru Legacy 2.2GX 4WD and my gearbox is screwed,

but i cant seem to find another one of the same gearbox,

i was wondering does anyone know of another gearbox that will fit?

i dont need the Dual range fyi, aka High and Low, its useless to me, heres a photo of the side of the gearbox and my vin, i hope it helps.

Also i only just bought the car, i can see the last person hasnt taken very good care of it haha

That TY752XG2AA on the gearbox and plate is the number you need to find a match for.

Saw a table somewhere of all the subaru gearboxes and their final drive. That\'s the important bit that it matches the rear diff

the xg in the miiddle of the code doesnt match to anything on the net .

maybe its nz new and odd model and not important model car anyway

chances are its 4.11 ratio but you could count . count drive shaft to rear wheel rotation

then just buy any 5 speed box off trade me that is 4.11 they all interchange in every other regard

apart from cable clutch ? is your clutch cable or hyrdaulic ? match that too

where are you ? I have a dual range 5 speed here that requires a centre diff( used the one that was in it for my centre diff locking tutorial ) I am based in the central NI, I will see if I can find the numbers on it this arvo.
