Installing cruise control on BH

Hey guys,

just wondering how hard it is to install cruise control onto my BH. Ive seen aftermarket kits that can do it, but can I get a factory kit and do it?

btw, its a manual.

I looked into it a while ago. Had a look at an auto legacy that was being wrecked. Was trying to get all components that were needed, then install them on my manual. But it required changing the main loom under the dash, so didn't go ahead with it.

You can buy aftermarket kits but the ones I found were like $1000.

I am interested to find out how you get on.

1. Go to Placemakers and buy a brick for 50c.

2. Accelerate up to speed and slip the brick against the gas pedal to hold it in place.

Super cheap sell kits for about $300.

I have used the super cheap kit, works well. The throttle actuator is out of my car atm as I haven't bothered putting it back in the engine bay after modifying a few things.

Paid 270 2-3 years ago, plus needed a reed switch for the clutch as my car is a manual, so the system disengages when the clutch is pressed.
