boost leaking + this noise....

i got a mad noise coming from my car when its on boost, both turbos, dunno what it is.... its boost leaking too as it is running rich and blowing black smoke out the back, and not boosting as it should any ideas? im currently suspecting the aftermarket bov but after second opinions...

no not compressor surge(my rx had that before i fitted a BOV)

I would go back to the original BOV and see if it goes

if it doing it on both turbos I doubt it a stuffed turbo UNLESS it is a toasted primary as i believe that it is still spinning while secondary running

Go through and trace all your hoses. Make sure they're all connected with no splits. I don't think its a turbo. Sounds like a boost leak.

Mate thats the EXACT SAME noise my turbo made before it popped. Its bent some fins and is rubbing on the compressor housing under load. I wouldnt push it anymore cos youll break a fin off and send it through the system.

the car hasnt been driven much since that vid, noise stopped, then started up about 50k ago. has done 300k max since lol as its greenied and ive got another car lined up now. so im just fixing up things like this so it can be sold mint. it started after fiddling with intercooler piping over the secondary so ill have a look

i didnt notice it straight away, i was just thinking, about 10 mins into the journey after trying to taker the pipe off then tightening it back on, that noise started. replaced one worn vac line today- no change. thought it was leaking but no

havnt checked yet didnt have enough time. tbh it really sounds like a leak, if you accelerate lightly and just get it off vacuum (nearly on boost) then back right off, it makes that noise. which would make me think the pressurised air is leaking somewhere?

fault found! the two bolts holding the intercooler piping onto the secondary turbo were tight, but not tight enough to seal under pressure! so it looked like they were tight but they were far from it. i had no idea how badly it was running till i took it for a run after tightening the bolts. holy crap lol oodles of power again and no cold start hassles!

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
