You shouldn't be worrying about gauges when your rallying anyway. Safer to leave that to the electrickery wizards in the ecu imo.

haha yeah thats why its going in front of the ballast seat, err sorry co-driver ;)

i would hook it to the ECU however i run a possum link so dont think i have any extra inputs or anything

What sort of gauges have you looked at?

I reckon an a/f ratio gauge would be more useful (as an "oh look, the #*&&$ has hit the fan already) if you want something for the left seat driver to entertain themselves with. Something like the ngk or innovate gauges?

Im having issues with the car cutting out intermittently so im trying to use it for fault finding, see if the pressure is dropping causing the car to cut out, or if the car cuts but i still have pressure i can look else-ware. i have a laptop coming to hookup to the possum-link during runs to log what is going on to see if i can see a sensor or something that is dieing, but need to know if fuel pressure is there to start with :)

Good old fuel surge?

I used to have an odd issue with the Possumlink at trackdays, where it would go into a "safe mode" after half a lap then come right after another or two. Never figured that one out.

But if your using a factory fuel tank and pickup for the pump (and no surge tank), it's good old fuel surge. Mine would surge even with over half a tank of fuel.

has surge tank usually, feels very much like fuel surge, but was happening with the tank, without the tank etc. ive replaced lift pump to make sure the pump sure tank is getting enough fuel, but this is why i want the guage, so i can see the pressure drop to confirm or if its cutting with no pressure drop then its something else....

this fault was very strange, does seem to be load related as went the whole way up ashley forest no drama on the last run, but then cut out after the dipper and after the finish.

im rewiring for dedicated feeds for the in tank and external pumps, i have a laptop to log all the stuff off the ECU to see if i can see an error with any sensors like a dodgy TPS or something, so the only thing i cant see is the fuel presure. im hoping the new lift pump and wiring will solve

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
