Decapping Aftermarket Injectors

Can you decap sard 800cc side feed injectors, Im going to be running them in a 3.3h6 twin turbo running twin gt28 garrets, will the 800s be fine or should I if I could decap them and make sure I dont run out of fuel before boost.

Dont think so. Dave would know better than anyone here if they would do the trick at 800cc tho. Few of these 6 cylinder twin garrett jobbies on 22b might flick a post up there on the moro.

I don't now if dtech will do it, they would probably recommend the upgrade path as I had 800cc Sard top feed injectors on my ej207 hybrid build and they were maxed at 300kw. I went up in size to 1400cc black ops on the advise of Dave and Tony. Different for h6 I know but I would think they would prefer to use larger injectors rather than decap the sard's, if it is possible.

Hey Brian, the Sard injectors are not de-capable sorry. 6 x 800cc injectors will be good for some decent power though - what sort of figure were you aiming for? And what fuel? Let me know and I will see what Dave reckons once I am back at work.

6x800cc = 4800cc = considerably more than a 4-pot with 1000cc injectors... and we know they'll do well over 300wkw so the question really is how much power are you going for and what sort of fuel are you going to be using?

Also is this that motor from down ChCh way that was on Trademe for ages?
