G4 - Logging airflow?

Is there any way to log airflow thro an SD calc/onboard logging or do you need to run an AFM?

Damn. Any way to calculate it on g4? Ecu knows whats coming in surely theres a way? Rung link but no call back prob only one man on.

The g4 doesn't really know what's coming in as doesn't know engine size. VE. Fuel injector size etc.

Doesnt it calculate airflow based off map and iat? Sure ive read that phrase in g4 manual or one of the link teams comments. I see hpa have a webinar on the ve/fuel table just need to watch it. I know rac was going to hook up a maf to watch airflow when playing with holsets years ago.

No as a 1300cc Na motor vs a 4000cc Na motor at 100kpa and 25 degrees iat will have vastly different air flows

I get what youre saying its weird even the old link plus says about it in the manual.

Hard to wire up a maf? Hardest part would be getting something that would flow enough.

You should be able to work it out knowing the fuel injected and afr ? Also maybe 2 afm with splitter?

How do i work it out running 95 octane would have some effect i guess? Must be some error with wb being so far from injector or close enough you reckon? Just want to monitor airflow would be handy to know.

Could a v5 style afm be rigged into my 4in intake and scaled to suit? Links running out of slots too would need to have a look on that side.

Octane doesn't affect flow only power. Just hold rpm with brake until you get stable readings. Insert afm would work in big tube. But those afm are crap
