2006 Legacy Centre console not working

Hey guys, bought a new 2006 Legacy model last week, tried installing a new head unit. I had to do some wiring so I bought an extra plug for the consoles' plug so I dont have to solder on the cars' wires. Got the new unit in, check if everything was ok and the console didnt power on.

I took everything out and plugged the console's plug back in and still no power at all. Is it possible a fuse couldve blown or another problem in the console occurred? I checked the fuses and they looked ok.

Did you have the negative on the battery removed whilst doing all this? Its a long shot but check the fuses in the engine bay box aswell. Managed to blow one of mine once and it killed all the power to the stereo. Was in my old legacy though so not sure if its the same setup with the new ones.

Thanks Andy_Mac, had a look like you suggested and the fuse marked as "backup" blew. Replaced it and now the stereo and AC is working, however theres no lights on the buttons. Ill check tomorrow in day light for more fuses. My car didtn even lock, but it does now with the new fuse
