02 sensor

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the 02 sensor for a forester and the v3/v4 sti?

The one in my forester died and i am running v3/4 sti ecu yellows and afm .

Just wanting to know so i can get the correct 02 sensor.

I wouldn't think so. Just get the cheaper of the 2 (if they are even different).

Some rockinghorse sh*t and a couple of moonbeams. Take your first born too, just in case those aren't enough.

If you really want to save money, pluck one off a car at pick-a-part. You'll get dirty, you'll curse and curse, and likely cut yourself more than once. But hey, they are cheeeaaaaap there.

be careful tho... last time i try'd to remove mine i took the whole thread and bung out too... had to get a new one welded in

ha ha ,if it means having one that will keep going for anothe 150k i think i will buy a new one

i may loose a left testy paying for one, but i can live with that 8)

mine hasn't worked in over 18 months..... had no ill effects.... yet.

mine threw a check engine light and thats what it logged.

had it diagnosed yesterday.its got near to zero voltage.

it is affecting the idle really badly and they checked for vac leaks and charging faults aswell.

lucky they had another forester in there and pulled the o2 off that,worked a treat.

just rang winger and $334 for a replacement and thats the cheap one.

Pretty sure you can get them cheaper than not for sure, look around some automotive places, i just got mine from pick - a - park... still going strong (touch wood)

mine came from Liam, around $150 ish if i remember corectly

well i priced one through repco but they are 3 wire ones.

Maybe try a wreckers? A bit cheaper, a bit used.

And much closer to needing a replacement.

Get a new one. At least they have a 1 year warranty and no mucking around with joining wires etc. Just fit it and go.
