have they got their S**T together now? havnt heard good things about their set up

Um...its a power run not a dyno tune, they wont be touching your car other than to put on dyno, strap it down run it out in 4th record it and do it again.

Would be keen to see what the power is on mine but like Ray said, have they there **** together yet? Dont wanan go popping something on the dyno.

so if you car cant handle being reved out to limiter(or close to it) in 4th gear, there is something wrong with your car....not thier setup.

I have put my car on thier twice for a power run and never had a problem, i know people who have also put there car on for a power run and have had no probs...tuning is a completely different story, and if your car is untuned then maybe it is not ideal for a power run.

Yeah I just wouldn't trust their tuning. Just waiting for Mike at Turboshop to stop being such a tight arse and get another 2 pods for his one. It would pay for itself rather quickly.

Um he was asking about the setup, as was i. I had heard that werent all that great. I wasnt sure so i asked. If you have been on it before and were happy, fine.

Yes mines untuned but tuned enough for a power run. Ive done it myself...im just maxing my injectors.

its a shame, Dunedin is really lacking great tuners (unless you own a skyline) maybe if Mike wants to get more business he might want to return ph calls, and follow up when people come in with cash, i went and seen him but too busy, and never got back to when he could fit me in( it was for a plug in link for sr20det)...too much hassle for him to let me know what going on i spose...i went to CHCH NZEFI, and far out they provide a great service, let me know what was going on, and gave me a date and stuck too it. shame i had to spend an extra $120 in petrol to get that service tho.

I have not heard of these issues, maybe it was at his old workshop? and you should come up, even if its just to see what ya run,

I would like too.

It certainly handle the dyno run...its getting confidence back with the new setup as it was blowing intercooler pipes off left right and center.

That was only 12psi too. The old turbo at 18psi never did that.

16 psi sees the yellow 440s maxed in 4th at about 5500prm. Hate to come up only to have it lean out on the first run.

Mind you be good to get some data logs in while it was on there.

ive had my car on there probably 10 times withs no issues with tuning or power runs its a bit like anything really if ya get crap to work with ya get a crap result nick seems to get a lot of guys that wont spend the money on their cars to do things the rite way which to me is just askin for trouble

It will take alot of AWD tuning to pay off the $50K the extra pods will cost him, so I can understand his reluctance.

looked like it went alright, some wrx did a 199kw run, and a evo4 did a 292kw run, and a legacy 250T did a 96kw run. there was plently of cars and people there, rob dales Drag GTR did a 553kw run on low boost, pity i missed that actually on the dyno.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
