Future car possibilities...

So as a bit of procrastination from my uni assignments... thought i would start a thread on what i should do about a future car once i graduate at the end of the year.... open for general banter and what your personal thoughts are on my "current ideas".

1) Buy a type-r coupe (favorite shape of all Subaru models) and swap all of my v7 STI running gear. Do twin scroll setup at the same time. Cert it and drive it until iv saved enough $$$ to fully rebuild the engine into a 2.2l with HX35, link + all the goodies.... maybe eventually 22b guards etc..

ORRR FOR a far larger cost

2) sell my v7 sti (might get 13k is im lucky), and buy a spec c v8-10/s203/204/Type RAR.... or, to the disgust of club sub members, i would concider a EVO 9/10 FQ, RS or MR model or a R33/34 GTR

Both options appeal to me, however the first would be more a project thing obviously and would be over time. where option 2 would take me at least 5 years if not longer to get the cash together... and then it would be choosing between a house or a car...

After people opinions and thoughts, and if anyone has been in a similar situation to share their knowledge.

Or you could build up your v7 sti as is? Already have 6speed brembos, all the good bits. Could do a decent build considering the cost of coupes these days. Coupes are cool but a majority are ****ed or molested to the point it's no where near factory anymore, why ruin a coupe?

#2 would be fun, but there only a handful of 202/203/204/205/RA-R around, unless you plan to import or sell a major organ for one.

After all the bull**** I went through with my RA I bit the bullet and bought an RA-R, daily drove it for 10,000K. Awesome car but very rare and very special, don't regret the choice so far though.

the v7 isn't the best looking shape to be honest and not being a RA or prodrive i feel its a waste of time, but yea i have thought about doing that. The Condition of a coupe wouldn't really worry me as long as it has a straight body... because engine, drive chain etc from my v7 sti would go straight in. i kinda like the thought of a light car with all the goodies of a GDB... if i go with #1 it will be far from factory by the time im done..

#2 is tempting, i would love a rare as f&&k car...i would feel cruel taking it away from factory though! but for the same money as a built weapon...

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
