Also shows that facelift NZDM 2.5 missed out not only on HIIDs but also on auto-leveling headlights... :/

Ah ok. So that would explain why @JGM didn't notice the little headlight sensors when he swapped his suspension. So it would be safe to assume he has a thumb wheel?

That's right, should've been apparent when he swapped the arms, don't think those adjustable arms are designed to have a mounting point for the leveler (or do they have one?).

I still cannot believe what Subaru does to non-JDM markets, Americans have probably suffered the most :D As an example, take their 4th gen 3.0R Limited: no HID, no alloy arms, prettyuch pre-face center dash (shifter etc), no 3.0 wagon version at all. They also didn't get any BRs, only BM sedans.

multiple ways to do it

Forester struts or outback struts depending on what car it's going in (2inch lift)

Outback subframe spacers (factory fitment) and steering arm/sway bar brackets/trail arm brackets (1 inch, and keeps geometery safer)

King springs make a heavy duty spring which gives about an inch of lift

Strut spacers

Custom made subframe spacers (note steering arm will need length to suit the lift)
There is a company in America that sell a over height adjustable shock around $1200 USD IIRC
If you go too high you need camber arms to get it close to factory settings

Good point! I have a set of those adjustable rear camber arms to go in.... didn't even think of that!

Nope, no thumb wheel on mine nor auto levelling - I was under the impression that the self levelling struts took care of the headlight position by levelling the whole car...

In that case you will have adjustment screws on the back of your headlights to adjust the angle of the beam.

The suspension would level it to a point I guess

Try my NZ new 'Luxury' model...

Sunroof, leather & electric drivers seat but;

No power folding mirrors

No heated mirrors

No heated wiper blades

No HIDs

No automatic or manual headlight levelling (as we've just been discussing)

No headlight washers (damn you @ADIKT for showing me yours!)

No heated seats

No rear centre arm rest (was this an NZ new thing also)

No auto pull switch for rear seat folding in boot

Almost all the above came on my JDM 2.0 N/A Legacy, NZ new behind the times.

And one more thing, why can't I use my key fob to open/close my drivers window! I'll admit it was rare that I actually used this JDM feature but it was COOL.

How about programmable driver's door handle? :D I bet you don't have that too!

Good thing about NZ new cars though is that they usually come with heaps of airbags, towbars and NZ New stereos. Does your one have a full size spare?

Yes you're right, airbags, towbar and stereo.

Indeed it does have the full size spare!

Best part is I know where, when and who bought the car brand new, also have the service history and am the second owner. I like this.

Neither does my mates pfl NZ new 2.5 Legacy, hence why I though it may have been a NZ new thing...

Might be a 2.5 nz new thing because my 3.0 def has one. With built in cup holders too :P

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
