Won't be neccersarily be needing a 6 speed, the 5 speed will do the trick. Just ask Nt a foz with his v8 engine conversion into his gc8.

There will be a hell of alot of wiring to get the ver7 engine to run in a gc8 using ver7 loom.

Better off getting a wire in Link G4 an making up a new loom. Some differences are Ver7 has AVCS Heads and GC8's don't, so quite a bit of wiring there.

GC8 has wasted spark (well my v5 does anyway), and if ver7 is same as Ver8 (?) then it has Coil On Plug so there is some ignition wiring there too.

But if your up to all the wiring a Ver7 loom could be used in a GC8. But it's a huge mission.

Yeah not a foz got a New link in his. Would be the easiest method. He also shat his 5 speed rather quick too. so a 6 speed conversion might be a good idea too.

yea well he spose to be getn a whole damaged car but was palnning on going with a link g4. will be using the 6 spd setup as the 5 spd already stuffed. Its v2 it that helps?
