Chains?

So what is the deal with fitting chains to our BE/BH Legacy's especially if they are lowered?

I'm heading down to the mountain at some point this month and don't own any. I don't really want to buy any either but with mine sitting a little lower and not having any experience with chains, are rental chains at the mountain going to fit if I need them?

Hey Brah, chances are you wont need chains, its not going to be 4wd AND chains this time of the year, though some freak snow storm may come through. I normally live up the mountain in winter, and in the last 4ish years I've only had trouble maybe 3 times? Chains are easy to fit, you'll be able to rent them down the bottom of the mountain and they normally help you fit them. I think they're about $80 to buy depending on where you go? Dont think your car being low will be an issue unless its ridiculously low

I know at mount hutt they are real fussy on who they hire chains to, the one time I have had to use them this season (been up twice a week since early june) they wouldnt put them on because they said the car was to low (this is a bg gt wagon standard as, not lowered or anything) they said they were sick of people making claims against them that there chains had damaged their cars somehow or another, so had to head back to methven and rented some chains from the servo there.

Also been up in a mates little nissan pulsar and they wouldnt fit chains because it had "fancy alloys" lol they wre sh itty factory nissan 15 inch alloys lol

they will fit to subies if not to low or running a stupid rim tyre combo,or drive a holden commy or a falcoon as they will not fit chains to these

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
