Quick steering racks

Not only the Spec C's got the really quick rack.

My 2005 Version 9 Sti, has a quick rack in it as well. 2.25 turns lock to lock.

So, i just decided, 2.75 turns is too much. Who's selling a Ver 9 or spec C rack? I will be requiring the universal joint and subframe.

Anyway, i've had my V3 sti rack in the car for ages now. I fricken love it. The biggest and nicest difference was actually the feeling, having less power assist just makes the car feel so much nicer, and goes perfectly with the STi short shifter. Losing that .25 of a turn was also enough to make me happy. I still want less turns, but for now the standard STi rack is suiting me VERY nicely, i'm very glad i went ahead and did it.

so how hard is it to swap over the steering racks?

and how much price difference between a ver3 sti and a ver5 sti?

mines making a crunching sound at the last wof i thought it was the springs moving on the struts, I've been thinking about just getting them re lubed but if that fails upgrading.

and should i buy the subframe while i'm at it?
