Version 8 Random Check Light

Hey guys

My Version 8 has been spitting codes at me. Last night was 107 which in the OBDII code list was MAP low input, unplugged and checked etc and removed battery lead for 10mins. Connected all back up and drove fine, no check light, normal boost etc. This morning was driving to work and was all good, half way there, check light comes up so checked it when I got to work and it gave me a twelve long and 14 short flashes so I am guessing it 1214 but cant find a code for that

Does anyone have any tips and are the Version 8 ECU's manually resettable or do I need a scanner??

Might pay to recount those flashes. There are other codes close. there are codes with 12 and some with 14, but none I know that is 1214.

That is what I thought also but have counted them four or five times and its definitely 12 long 14 short

why not get someone to plug in the scanner and read the codes and then clear it after fixing?

P1214 Pedal Position Sensor B Circuit Intermittent

Found under Body Section, 1214 is rear number plate lights which were blown Nice easy fix. Now just have code 107 which is MAP sensor low input, at least I now know what it is. Have removed and cleaned MAP sensor, fault still there, now will test all wiring and see if it is wiring or the sensor.

Any one had this fault before??
