Steering Wheel

Hi,

When my front wheels are facing straight forward my steering wheel is turned to the left slightly.

Is this easily adjustable? Do you do it at the wheel or the other end?

Its going into subaru at the end of the month so was going to ask them to have a look at it

Its a 03 BL5 GT spec.b

Can easily be adjusted out with a wheel alignment. My wheel is a couple degrees off to the left to compensate for camber on the roads. Its personal preference, just explain to the wheel alignment tech how you want it set up.

oh ok. I had an alignment about a month ago.

Can subaru adjust it without altering the alignment?

Its really starting to annoy me not being centered.

Nah you really need to get it done at the alignment garage. If you take it back to them you might be able to convince them to adjust it for free as it was never set right in the first place.

I doubt I'll get it for free. After I got my tyres they did the alignment but couldn't finish the rear L toe in as they couldn't release the bolt. They said they didn't want to break it. Had to take it to subaru to get the bolt undown (10minute job if that)

They charged me a part charge for re-doing the alignment on the rear after subaru un-did both rear toe in bolts. Couldn't get away with it for free the 2nd time so doubt I'll get it the 3rd time.

Probably put up with it until I need my next alignment.

Man id be pissed with that shocking service, go somewhere else next time! The guys i go to let me set whatever specs i want and will keep re-doing the alignment untill we agree its right. It took them 3 sessions on the hoist last time to get things set right.

I wouldnt pay for a wheel alignment to be "half-done" or done "good enough". Its either right or its not, otherwise your wasting money.

Of course it was shocking service,it was a "FREE" Alignment,from a company that predominantly sells tyres, I would not trust this alignment as far as I could throw it.....

Take it to a place that does alignments and suspensions only.....

you COuld adjust the steering wheel it self? one of my legacys jumped a couple teeth one day and all i did to fix it was pull the steering wheel off and recenter it
