road tuning or dyno tuning

just wondering what is the different between road tuning and dyno tuning?

whats the benifit of doing road tuning? apart from being cheaper

one ofmy mate got his car road tuning and seem to loving the hell out of it and another one is just about to the same path which keep telling him not to

I though the road tune was just to check the tune done on the dyno and fine tune things a bit... also do a bit of

a low load tune, which can't done on a dyno i think.

Power tune on the road does not sound like something I'd want anyone doing in my car.

Road tuning had my old tuner wondering how my engine wasnt melted when it went on the dyno afterwards, same tuner did the road tune. Never again

Yeah that's pretty much correct I think.

With my old car, I got its primary tune done on the road and it was a mess. As loren said, road tune is for partial throttle (low load) tuning and making sure it drives properly on road conditions. Primary tuning should be done on the dyno IMO, and most tuners tend to agree.

from what i have seen of forcefeds subbie.

his road tune done by dtech is mean as.

however that was done by an accomplished tuner.

i agree with the previous post that it should be done on the dyno.

and be aware of the tuner that you have payed to do the job! reputable or not? thats up to you to do your homework first
