BH5 Japanese "Cam Belt"? Sticker, Translation?

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a 2000 Subaru GTB wagon, got it today. I was about to let my mate do the cam belt but noticed when cleaning up the bay, it had a sticker on the engine cover (see images below). I can't read Japanese but thought someone here could and perhaps since you guys are hardcore fans have seen them before? I know it reads: 98,440 km but what for, I'm hoping like hell it is the cam belt, makes sense. I did a search and the only similar thread was apparently in regards to an air filter at 168,000km? so no use to me. Last but not least, can these Japanese decals be trusted? For the most part the Japs are pretty fussy about their rides so I can see it being legit. Hoping someone can help. Thanks heaps, I love my BH5 GTB wagons, my 3rd one. ;D they're premo lifestyle wagons - the best.

From what I can gather from the interwebs...

H19 year 6 month 29 day

98440km

H19 is the 19th year of the current emperor, aka 2007. I'm guessing the month and day are the same as ours though.

that is a genuine jap style cambelt sticker, the toyota one is similar but has engrish on it too

Thanks guys much appreciated. If anyone esle would and can confirm this please speak up, thus far I am happy to accept it is, and just get the plugs and oil done instead of the cambelt (as well).

I'm lucky enough to have a Japanese guy working with me. I always get him to translate stickers and fuse box labels!!

Can ask my friend who's got a bit of knowledge on Suuby engines as he is a parts importer and gets them straight from Japan...and also, he is Japanese. ;D

Sounds good mate, even if others do post back please ask. The more confirmation the better.

Not just for me but also for anyone else in future who does searches, etc. Nice to have overwhelming confirmation.

correct. nice of the writer to include the H, since its unlikely to have been done 65 years ago under the previous emperor heh

the sticker reads 'timing belt'

i've always had trouble translating the 'to do' or 'have done' from that kanji, its kinda vague, the but since you generally change the belt <100kms your safe to assume the sticker has been written out following the cambelt change.
