Convert Facelift to Non facelift Possible?

Hey

is it possible to convert a facelift to a non facelift and the other way around? just toying with an idea at the moment in doing a possible conversion

Related cars are BF5 (1992) and BC5 (1990)

It is possible, and been done in 50% to full conversion.

we are thinking just the front, Headlight, bumpers etc. (easy task or require a lot of work?), possible a little bit more body type work but i don't think anything major

Easy from what I can tell, I wouldn't consider it at all; so never looked into it.

Its literally just a facelift. No chassis changes were made.

Ahhh...Just a note: the rear lights are NOT simply interchangable guys. JUST the front is bolt on and easy enough like the boys above have been saying with guards, bonnet etc. I converted my rear lights from facelift to pre facelift as I love the old school style tail lights and it consisted of changethe rear bootlid and bumper to pre facelift as well, and then it took a bit of panelbeating to get the lights to fit properly with the gap that was left between the panel that the lights fit to and the tail light itself. It was worth it now, but at the time it was rather annoying.

Leaving the rear along as its a wagon and sedan so not interchangeable anyways, Just the front that will be switched over in this case

thinking about it, but will cost lest if i just switch over parts etc... besides gives me something to do in the holidays

i'm one of those poor uni students, so changing over sed parts and engine would be the cheapest way for me, and well the dude i could be doing the swap with wants a wagon, so its a win win in a sense

Always wanted an RS, now i'm getting one i'll be keeping it for a long time now, just spend up some money and get it mint, Love the old school cars so will be keeping for a while

Looking at getting s replacement engine build, forged up

I would buy yours bit its a tad on the expensive side for someone like me...

I'll have a big build stage with photo's going on no doubt, provided the misses leaves me the camera
