Are there many places up in Auckland that tune the micro tech ecu etc?

it wont be 2.2 unless its a 2.2 block, with the thickness of the cylinder walls it would be impossible to stretch to 2.2 from a 2.0 without stroking it and possibly sleeving the block. id steer clear mate.

Easy enough to make it close to 2.2 by using a 79mm crank and a 2.0 block.

I know this car, can talk to the guy when I see him next as he is always usually at the gym as we usually chat about subbis. He came out to the last trackday, had decent engine work and went quite well at the last trackday. As far as I know he has had it bored out.

Ohh cool, I still have to sell my car before I can do anything but thought it look like a nice car.

Does it look as tidy in real life as it does in the pictures?

Yeah mate, it's a real sleeper. I haven't seen it for a few months, but he is quite anal over it. Regularily serviced and was still in good condition when I last saw it. I was very suprised when I first met him and had a looksy. Just looked like ur standard v3 sti, nothing too special then he mentioned about the 2.2. He rebuilt the engine as Im pretty sure he hit the good ol BEB issue.

I can pm u his number if u wanna talk to him more about it? And I can take pics etc and give it a drive if u are really keen?

Yea cheers thanks for that. Yea as I say not really a serious buyer at this stage but yup as things start to progress with the sale of may car I will get in touch with him.

With my car sold I have been in touch with him about the car but me being in Auckland still continues to be an issue, Might try and take you up on that offer WRXER to go have a look at it and take some photo's as it looks like my cousin who lives down there is going to be out of the country for the next couple of weeks.
