Car doing a few odd things

cars being running flawless since its rebuild...but along comes the rain and a few issues have popped up

firstly the car feels like its suddenly lost a bunch of power it does bizzare random jerking no harsh ones but obviously i feel them...still comes on boost but it extremly hesitant. car is stil very drivable it just dsnt feel right ...im thinking afm is dying

second startup idle is the pits it serges untill it seeks out the warm up revs and im been in contact with my tuner and he hasnt changed anything since it worked perfect on the tune..

thirdly this one im not as worried at random times my car will smoke a bit on startup but only wen its restarted with water temp between 52-60 degrees...i do have oversized pistons??? its ever so random maybe that...maybe tired turbo??

engine was totally forged and rebuilt for the second time few months back so im just concerned...car still drives sumwhat fine but not at its full potencial...

any ideas would be great

start with ur afm.........easy enuff to swap out. where is ur poddy?.........in engine bay or somewhere else?

check the plugs and for vac leaks.. also maybe check fuel pressure and flow

If it's the rain that caused it I'd suggest looking inside all your engine multi-pin plugs and makeing sure they have their seals. They are moulded rubber rings, normally coloured, that can drop out.

As for the smoke on start up, mine does that on the odd occasion, i also have forged pistons im curious as to what that is. I'v heard of others to do the same as well, it doesn't really bother me.

+1 notice mine doing that too, was a little concerned. Is it a forged piston thing?

From what iv been told its not abnormal for a bit of a puff with forgies upon start up

Mine does it too mate only sometimes on start up with forgies. Im thinking a build up of oil due to the oversizing but cant be sure. When it was dynoed last year it didnt seem to have any negative effect but im aware of it and keep an eye out. It certainly doesnt chew oil though.

Mine does the same as your, I've swapped looms etc..

Check your o2 sensor and check the wires down there, i found this was my problem, the o2 sensor has a very little cut on the wire, ran find during the dry but in the wet would surge (A/F gauge hit 20 = over fueling) and coming right as turbo kicks in to compensate for the extra fuel

o2 would be my guess
