Boosting problems

I just wanna say that Im a proud new owner of a one 1996 WRX!!!! ;D ;D ;D

But one problem. Its not boosting right. It'll boost to about 4,000rpm sweet as but then it will just stop boosting, almost like its cutting short. It was running fine when I brought it a few weeks ago but then it just doing whats its doing.

try an afm and a set of plugs, it probably hasnt seen a set in a while, also run it on 98 and check for fault codes.

hey mate. describe more about the "not boostin" part....my 97 wrx was boost cuting when i first got it due to over boost but was sweet when i added a boost controller...but if your abit low on cash just go for a boost tee...but not some chinese brand off trademe ;D

I got it checked by a mecanic and O2 senser and AFM gone. But that was only the good news. :(

gutted the afm isn't cheap well its cheaper than my model what are the other problems.

I had a crack in the head gasket and big end bearing was going but its been sorted out now
