Looked around the site, couldn't find existing info (could be blind?) Do sti seats swap straight from WRX into Forester, or are changes

required ???

gc8 sti shape will bolt straight in along with the gc8 seatbelt stalks that are attached to them, the forester stalks won't swap over, but belts fit into the gc8 stalk.

i've done that in my forester, it's an awesome swap, sits you lower in the car and holds you great (as long as your skinny enough to fit in the seats)

the ones i am looking at are from a version 7/8 - im not sure what the chassis code is for this model, but mine is a sf5 foz.

Will this work?

GDA\B will be the code.... not sure on fitment tho, i find the later model seats better suited to the larger person......

Well I'm a skinny bugger and get thrown around in my seats like a kid in a drier. I've been thinking about getting some wrx seats, so are they heaps tighter? At the moment I have to hold the passenger seat in corners and it's disturbing my chi.

Anyone want to sell some? (going in the wanted section)

I love my v5ish seats, they hold me real well, 100x better than standard foz seats and better than V8 seats IMO, you are roughly the same buld as me (from what i remember) so they should be fine for you.

the v7 plus seats will bolt on the forrester but

1 - you will need the rails with the seats as the rails are different

2 - need to bolt your forrester seatbelt thing as the gd series is different slightly

any thing below v7 will be strait swap

another thing to note - the gd seats will sit slightly higher than the older model seats as they have diferent floor plan setup.

wont be too bad if u not too tall i guess..

other that that - swap away...

PS. the GD seats look way cooler if anything!!

i didn't realise my seats were so bad till i went out in my mates v5 sti. They were a good squeeze

I didn't realize mine were so bad until I got the new springs put in and threw the car into a few corners! Its amazing what body roll hides.

That's the thing aye, with the car taking corners flat you just get pushed up against the door, Feel like jeremy clarkson when he drove that HGV a couple of weeks back
